This Yidaki is a very light, long instrument that is slow playing and mellow. It has a very mild edge and is suited to more advanced players. Resonance is very good, backpressure is high and responsiveness is low-thus making it a slow playing didj. Volume is good, vocals are excellent and air needs are medium. This instrument can be difficult to start until the technique is gained, but over all is a powerful, mellow mood maker.
